What is StoryTeller?

StoryTeller is a browser puzzle game about building short stories. Each level gives you empty comic panels, a small cast, and a goal such as love, betrayal, revenge, death, or a mystery result.

You do not control a hero directly. You arrange scenes and characters, then watch how they react. A character may fall in love, learn a secret, die, return as a ghost, or change behavior because of something that happened earlier.

How to Play StoryTeller

Read the title first. It tells you the result the page needs. Drag a setting into a panel, add the right characters, and build the story one beat at a time. When the sequence plays out, check whether the result matches the title.

Order matters more than decoration. The same character can do different things depending on what they know, who they met, and what happened in earlier panels. Move one scene earlier or later when the outcome feels close but not correct.

Later puzzles ask you to track relationships across the whole page. Create love before jealousy, reveal danger before revenge, or use death before a ghost scene. Treat each panel as a cause that changes the next panel.

Tips for StoryTeller

  • Solve the title first; every panel should help reach that result.
  • Change the order before replacing every character.
  • Watch who knows what after each scene.
  • Use one panel to set up a relationship before breaking it.
